IGDA-F Welcomes Natasha Skult a new Board Member

The International Game Developers Association Foundation (IGDA-F) proudly welcomes Natasha Skult! With a background in traditional art, academic research and design, Natasha Skult’s award-winning work in the games industry includes a variety of senior roles, leading to her current journey as the CEO & Creative Director of MiTale, an independent game development studio from Finland. She is an active member of the Finnish and international games industry communities as a founder and Chairperson of W Love Games and Chair-Emeritus of IGDA. Besides industry work, she is active in academic research on interactive storytelling with quantum computing and teaches courses in game design and game (digital) art production at University of Turku.

Her biggest passion lies in empowering both individuals and teams in creating something truly meaningful! She believes we all have our place in the games industry where our differences and uniqueness can shape the industry into a better and more united creative force. Games are experiences, behind every experience is a story worth telling and connecting to, therefore, what excites her most is the opportunity to enable stories to be shared and voices to be heard.
