Matías Gabler
Matías Gabler is an industrial and software engineering student at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. Guided by his passion for data and software, he likes to explore new technologies, learn about UX/UI techniques and take part in projects from different areas of programming, such as web development, information visualization, artificial intelligence and game development.
He decided to join the university’s game development club as a staff member, aiding in the organization of workshops, student meetings and game jams, collaborating in the biggest jam sites for Global Game Jam and Game Jam+ offered in Chile. During the pandemic, Matías got involved in several projects through various part-time jobs while studying at the university, gaining experience developing websites, mobile apps and releasing his first commercial videogame “Teacup” with Smarto Club. He is looking forward to his career developing videogames, funding his own game studio Fishbowl Team along with friends.
