Hannah Leach
Hannah Leach had been a shy child, but she remembers how she would instantly feel at home whenever she found a new game to play on her family’s PC. Now, she is a turbo people-person who is working towards her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, and she hopes to use her sensitivity towards the restorative qualities of games to foster safe gaming communities where all members feel welcome. Hannah’s studies and interests include the language we use online, the necessity vs. spontaneity of community in games, the gamification of learning and education, and the power of empowering others. She believes that games can have a significant impact on children and society at large, and she hopes to contribute to making that impact a good one.
