As a global charitable organization, everything we do is driven by individuals and companies who believe in our mission and donate their support, time, and funds. The IGDA Foundation would not exist without individuals whose efforts make a difference within our organization and the industry as a whole.
The IGDA Foundation impacts the lives and careers of a diverse and talented group of game developers from marginalized backgrounds across the globe. Through our workshops, mentorship, coaching, GDC and Virtual Exchange programs, we create real opportunities and career advancement for talented individuals from underrepresented communities.
Over the past 17+ years, our work has served over 1,000 alumni. We’ve created a global community and have provided opportunities across the gaming industry. Our alumni go on to publish games, start their own studios, get hired by top game developers, and give back through volunteering and mentoring to help others enter or advance in the gaming industry.

Your donation of $3,000 allows us to send a game industry hopeful or a next-gen leader to the Game Developers Conference (GDC), where they can meet with recruiters and developers from companies throughout the industry.
Your donation of $1,500 enables us to put a qualified candidate through our Virtual Exchange program, where they will connect with a global network of developers and recruiters, receive targeted training and education sessions, and get one-on-one mentorship from industry veterans.
