IGDA Foundation Mentor Database

Thank you for your interest in becoming a mentor with the IGDA Foundation!

We are building a database of mentors interested in assisting underrepresented game developers selected for IGDA Foundation programs. As a global initiative focused on underrepresented individuals, we often come across people with uniquely diverse experiences. Our goal is to match their needs accordingly, with empathy and specificity.

Mentorship with the IGDA Foundation’s grantees might take numerous forms, from direct one-on-one mentorship, to portfolio or resume reviews, networking roundtables etc etc. You’ll be given the opportunity to specify what forms of mentorship you’re interested in taking on. If you have any questions, please email info@igdafoundation.com

Mentorship can take many forms with the IGDA-Foundation.

Currently, our largest endeavour is the Virtual Exchange, which is held in August - September. During this time, we ask our mentors to meet with their assigned one-on-one mentee for 3x during the 6-week program (approximately 30 minutes each time).

While this is our largest form of mentorship, there are numerous ways to volunteer your expertise with the IGDA Foundation.
