Program Committee

The IGDA Women in Games Ambassadors program committee is a team of longtime video game industry professionals. They volunteer their time and skills to ensure a program with incredible breadth and depth that jump starts the careers of the future movers and shakers of the industry. The talented team is comprised of:

Cat WendtCat Wendt
Cat Wendt is the Program Director for the Women in Games Ambassadors program. She helped build the program from the ground up in 2015 with the support of the IGDA Foundation. She is an eight year veteran of the video game industry and focuses primarily on marketing, writing, and visual design. Cat has worked on more than 60 games in a variety of capacities and is dedicated to inclusiveness and diversity in games.

Sela Davis is a senior software engineer at VREAL. Previously at WG Cells (Wargaming) and Xbox, she is best known for her work on Achievements for the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One. She has seen and resolved many issues in production, and still has nightmares about some of them. Sela is an advocate for women in games, and currently sits on the board of IGDA Seattle. On the side, she is a shown metal artist, a keytarist, and sometimes makes shiny things.

Heather Decker

Heather M Decker is a Lead Producer at Zynga in Chicago where she coordinates the development of mobile games. She proudly serves her local community as Chair of IGDA Chicago Chapter, in addition to collaborating and volunteering with other awesome game dev groups both within the windy city and beyond.

Renee is the lead artist for a Ever Jane the Jane Austen MMO and the founder of Studio Punch Drunk. She thinks it’s practical to save the world through video games like a real liberal idiot, but is some how okay with herself.
